The San Diego community is mourning the heartbreaking loss of Xavier Zamarron, a proud U.S. Marine Corps veteran, entrepreneur, and beloved member of the Montgomery High School Aztec family.
Xavier, known to many as the innovative mind behind thecowboyhatguy brand, passed away on November 27, 2025, leaving behind a legacy defined by courage, ambition, and unwavering dedication.
Born on June 10, 2002, Xavier graduated with the Montgomery High School Class of 2020, where he was admired for his determination, charisma, and strong sense of community.
Shortly after graduating, he answered a higher calling by enlisting in the United States Marine Corps, proudly serving his country with the honor, discipline, and resilience that defined every aspect of his life. His service reflected everything he believed in—commitment, bravery, and a desire to protect others.
After completing his time in the Marine Corps, Xavier transitioned into the business world with remarkable drive and creativity. As the CEO of thecowboyhatguy, he poured his energy into building a brand rooted in authenticity and hard work. Friends and colleagues remember him as a visionary—focused, motivated, and unstoppable in his pursuit of success.
Beyond his accomplishments, Xavier will be remembered for his warm heart, infectious laughter, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. From fellow Marines to his mariachi bandmates, classmates, and lifelong friends, he touched countless lives with kindness and genuine spirit. His memory will forever remain woven into the fabric of the Aztec community.
